I used construction adhesive to hold the magnet and the plate in position. Worked great. The supplied screws didn't work out as well as hoped when installing on hard wood surface. Construction adhesive was the answer.

These work great for vanity drawers that needed a little extra help to stay closed. Easy to apply, peel and stick, super strong adhesive. Great purchase.

Magnet is strong to hold closed a cabinet door with damaged hinge. My issue is that the screws to mount the plate block the magnet strip and gives less hold than intended. Used only the adhesive strips and hope it’s durable

I strongly recommend taking the provided screws and throwing them away. Don't even waste your time opening the bag. Weakest screws I've used in 40 years - total trash. I sheared off two, and that's with drilling pilot holes.The magnetic plates are decent with pretty good strength, but depending upon your installation, alignment might be challenging.
