This item fits Left Hand Drive Mazda CX-5. Only found out when local garage removed the original switch to find it a mirror image. In UK the item required is part number KDY1-46-040.Refunded promptly by Amazon.

The item was as described but it suited only a left hand drive vehicle. I ordered through Amazon Australia and it didn’t occur to me that this problem would arise. The result was a refund that was fast and efficient. Will definitely use Amazon again.

This seems to be a decent-quality switch, and it was an exact replacement (except that the original part had the design flaw of the rubber tip (that falls apart) on the "park" sensor switch. The part came without lubrication, so I lubricated with silicone contact grease. It was an easy replacement job. There are some good videos on Youtube that show how to disassemble the center console, and it was not difficult. With a bit of care, I didn't break any little tabs. The job took about 45 min. Bottom line: My ignition shuts off completely now. The mystery problem has been solved, and I'm happy.

Lo instalé en un Mazda 6 del año 2014 ya que cuando apagaba el carro, el equipo de sonido se quedaba encendido. El interruptor cumple con su función correctamente. Ahora cuando apago el carro, se apaga todo el equipo de sonido sin problemas. A pesar de ser genérico, hace la misma función que el original. Lo recomiendo.
