Let me get the nitpicking out of the way.I'm not sure how long it will be until the bluetooth antenna gets snapped off the back...The antenna could have been internal, recessed to be flush with the back, or built into the handle. Either of those options would have kept it safe and reduced the chance of it getting snagged and snapped off.The amp looks really nice. The finish, control layout, the handle, all of it... with the exception of the green plastic knobs. If those six knobs were nice green anodized knurled knobs that matched the green case it would have taken the overal appearance from "that looks nice" to "that looks like a nice piece of pro gear!"OK, still with me?Good. For a tiny tube amp the tone that it puts out is fantastic! I didn't have my cabinet handy, so I plugged in my bass, my headphones, the foot switch, and the power.I turned the volume on the amp and on the bass to zero. When I flipped the power switch on the amp there was a loud POP... Crackle.... then quiet. It was so bad I was worried if it tweaked my headphones. After cautiously turning up the volumes on the bass and amp and plucked a string.Man, that bass sounds great. No pedals, no effects, just bass right into the amp. Smooth clear sound and with the gain up a bit and the compressor on it had a nice light "fuzzy growl" I played for a while fiddling with the tone controls, gain, and compressor. It didn't matter where I set those "meh looking" green knobs, it sounded great. But that Click, Pop, Snap... whatever you want to call it happens every time I turn the amp on. Every time.I don't know if I received one with a gremlin inside, or if this is the way tube amps are. Do all tube amps have such an abrupt start? I'm going to use my "less than good" headphones and not test it with the cabinet or the audio interface/DAW until I get the click/pop sorted out.I really like the sounds it sends through the headphones. Two seconds after you turn it on it is excellent.

It's got enough power for home use and good tones so it could be good for using with you DAW, but this isn't really something you would gig with.Overall, I like it and will run it through it's paces a bit more. Not sure about needing the compression channel, but hey, it's an option.
