These shirts are perfect for men wanting less sun when at the beach or pool. They do run small, wish I had sized up a size. They dry quickly when outside and are comfortable.

The shirt looked like it had gone through the ringer. It was stretched in the neck and other areas. We bought for my son for camp and didn't have time to return it, he needed something. Will not buy again.

I use synthetic material shirts for 99% of my extended outdoors activities these days. I'm at an age where skin cancer is a significant concern and vanity is not. Whether I'm outdoors for yard work or fishing/boating/skin diving/swimming/etcetera, I have one of these types of shirts on. It helps that when they get wet or sweaty they dry out fairly quickly (unlike cotton). I saw these simple JumGear swim shirts (in a WIDE variety of colors) and ordered up a couple (sky blue and snow green). I was a little concerned since I border between Large and X-Large and I wasn't sure how they are cut. I ultimately ordered the Large size and I was spot-on. The fit is absolutely perfect for my build and the slightly stretchy material (due, I assume, to the 5% Spandex) means there's even room for a touch of “lateral growth”. The SPF factor is a “must have” and these check the box. Three additional areas of fit that are important to me are the neck, sleeve length, and total body length. The neck is perfect in that it is not too loose (exposing too much of my neck to the sun), nor is it too tight (ending up looking/feeling like a turtleneck in summer). I detest slim-fit t-shirts that have super short sleeves. As you can see, these come down to just above my elbow. Perfect. And finally, I like the total body length being long enough to cover my fanny while bending over to shovel dirt or unhook a nice fish. Again, perfect. I took several pics of the stitching on the snow green shirt to make a few points. The stitching up the joint of the front/back panels of the shirt is not a flat stitch, however, the aforementioned fit and extra stretch means you will not feel this seam. The stitching at the neck, waist, and front/back of the shoulders are all flat stitch and you will not feel these at all. And lastly, there are no external graphics. If you're looking for that sort of thing, look elsewhere. The price point ($16) is very fair for a shirt with this quality of build and features.

This is a no-frills, straight-ahead rash guard shirt made of the stretchy Lycra style material we are all accustomed to. I normally wear men's XL and I do think the shirt runs about a size small......it felt more like a men's L to me. If you are looking for a decent rash guard shirt, round up the size and this will do the trick.

This shirt very comfortable and has a nice moisture wicking fabric. This is perfect for working out and helping you stay cool in the hot summer heat. I'm usually between a medium and large and this large fit a little loose on me.
