surprise surprise for me . open package empty shell.buttons are new ,shell is new , came with a ring for connectionto keys. Shiny.

The new shell is perfect, and is exactly what I needed.The only snag is that you’ll need to grid off (4) plastic nubs that hold the transponder onto the original fob, once that’s done you can CAREFULLY pry it out of the old shell and plop it into the new one. I used a Dremel tool and it worked great, it only took a few minutes to switch.

this is the best and easiest way to replace a broken key fob. jut pit your insides in it and ur done. no need to program.

Tried but repeatedly failed to program these for 2001 Nissan Quest. Ended up finding an OEM version which looked the same but actually worked. In future will only buy if has same markings on back showing it is OEM version because this is my second try with so-called compatible versions that do not work as expected.

Great remote replacement for my elderly 2000 Nissan Quest. After trying several times to program with no success I stopped and reread the instructions and realized you had to have the key IN the ignition while programming, not in your lap. Big Ol' DUH. It worked on the first try after that. The only issue I had with this remote was that the buttons press very easily and the panic button kept getting pressed in my pocket, setting off the alarm. I fixed this by popping the remote apart (just like changing the battery) and trimming the plastic button that pressed the switch a bit. The panic button still works , you just have to press harder. No more annoying the neighbors. Well, at least with my horn.
