I have many years of sewing experience, and was looking forward to introducing my granddaughters to making simple clothes for dolls or whatever. The plastic models looked good, but were hard to work with as the plastic is slippery. The plastic thingys that are supposed to hold the fabric in place on the models were annoying. The wide skirt pattern fit the waist, but the rest of the skirt was really strange. All that said, we are making use of all the fabrics and other notions included and using them in other ways. I pitched all the patterns as they were useless. That said, we had a good afternoon learning how to sew on a button and make doll clothes out of old socks, the new fabrics, and supplies from this kit.

My 9 year old granddaughter comes to my house once a month for a long weekend. I am always struggling to find activities to keep her occupied so she doesn’t hang out on her Kindle all day. Her attention span is about 20 minutes before she’s looking for the next “fun thing”. I was amazed at how long she played with this toy. Hours at the dining room table! This kit comes with so many different fabrics and decorative accessories that it seems like it will never end. Plus it’s easy enough to buy more scarp material at Hobby Lobby when it does all get used up. The creativity this kit inspired in her was amazing, and she still tells me when I talk to her on the phone that she can’t wait to come back to my house and play with it again. Truly outstanding craft kit.

My granddaughter who is 11, wanted to make some Barbie clothes. The kit contained plenty of material, patterns and mannequins. Great performance the money.

Daughters 5yrs old and she loved it. Good crafting with her grandma who sews.
