Wish the rods were a little longer, but all materials are well crafted. Held up well on first burn and shipped quick! Nice little set to add to any melters kit!

This is a good set of stuff! The carbon stir sticks... I thought they would burn up nope. They are really good!The crucibles. I love them. They are tiny enough to do quick things or torch melt a little bit. Or keep stuff from contaminating your other crucibles.The little I got mold is pure garbage. It is a toy. When you get this package. Feel the crucible... look at it. Now Feel the ingot mold and look at it. Anything that is machined out of carbon like the mold is going to last like 2 or 3 uses. I thought I was smart and let it cool in the kiln with copper in it. The next day the ingot mold was GONE. Where it went? Whose to say? About 50% of it was missing. It was there when I stopped. It did not leave a pile of crud. It left some. But it was mostly gone.This kit is so good I bought it again to get more of the crucibles and stir rods. The crucibles are small so be prepared.ALSO. The rods. I will be using the rods for electroplating since they are inert and conductive they won't contaminate the juices.ALSO! The rods ship in a clear plastic tube with rubber end stops. This looks like a handy storage for other things like maybe glass stir rods? Note that the carbon rods will attract some material so they won't go back into the tube unless you make sure to clean the rod.

J'ai utilisé les creuset pour la fusion et la purification du zinc, de l'aluminium et du bronze. Les baguettes de graphite sont des articles utiles pour la décantation des métaux en fusion. Le moule également en graphite permet d'obtenir des lingots d'une taille raisonnable. Je recommande vivement ce produit.I have used the crucibles for the melting and purification of zinc, aluminum and bronze. Graphite rods are useful items for settling molten metals. The mold, also made of graphite, makes it possible to obtain ingots of a reasonable size. I highly recommend this product.

This is a very good set. I refine, melt, and mold silver and this has been really good for making 10oz ingots.
