Hope I don’t get 8 punctures, because only 7 patches were in my box. I have not tried these yet, but I feel relieved to have them on long rides. The supplied zip-lock bag is a great inclusion to keep the patches clean and dry.

Will last a couple of hours. Slow leak. Will get you home, but you would still have to change the tube. Might as well change the tube to begin with and not use the patch...

The patches appear to be straightforward and good quality. The wipes, like many cheap wipes, appear to have minimal fluid and will likely be dried out by the time you use them. They don't weigh much, so throw them in anyway, but I'm not expecting to be able to depend on the wipes when the time comes to use them.

I purchased this inner tube repair kit for my husband to keep our bikes in rideable shape. It consists of eight very small, transparent, flimsy patches and eight cleaning wipes. That is unlike traditional bicycle tube patch kits, which have thick rubber adhesive patches that are larger than these, and include an abrasive pad to help rough up the surface of the rubber tube to make sure that it’s clean and assures an adhesive bond. This patch material is a very thin, transparent, flexible film that could easily be mistaken for packing tape. My husband cleaned my inner tube with their cleaning wipe and let it dry thoroughly, then applied the patch material. it seemed to do a decent job of adhering itself to the rubber tube, but it looks thin and fragile. I intend to use it only if there is no stronger alternative available..The more disappointing aspect is that there are no instructions for using this simple patch however the box does have an illustration on one side which effectively says, “clean the damaged area and apply the patch and you’re done” . In addition to the lack of directions, the box has a list of the contents, which it calls “large patches” and alcohol tissues. But when you open the box you have small patches and non-alcoholic cleaning tissues. My recommendation is that you look elsewhere for your tube patches
