This is a good basic assortment of clevis pins with clips and cotter pins to secure them. The unit are well made for general duty applications with the pins installing smoothly with about the standard level of force. As is typical, the smaller ones removal force is a little light, so cotter pins would be the better choice for high vibration applications. The bending force require for the cotter pins is higher than softer metal types, but these should weather better, in theory. All of the parts are smoothly machined, with no burrs apparent on any of the ones used so far. Pin diameters are all correct, within reasonable tolerances, so they fit easily into the appropriately sized openings. Don't have any long wear or shock strength performance results yet, but the design seems appropriate for general duty applications.

This kit is put together well. Clevis pins and clips, and cotter keys of common sizes. Each set of items are individually bagged to prevent them from getting all jumbled during transit, and the case is actually nice, sturdy enough to last. The back hinges are pin and hook, so they will last. The front clasps use flex hinges though, so they will degrade over time.It's nice to have an assortment of pins and keys handy for use around the shop. And having them together might help to reduce the amount of time I spend searching through cabinets and drawers for the right size.
