I have a short haired pittie/lab mix that sheds like crazy. I saw this on a YouTube groomer's channel and thought it was worth a shot but didn't have high expectations. This brush moves easily across the hair and I can't believe how much it gets without "grabbing" or pulling the hair. The shape is also very comfortable.

My shorthair dog HATES to be brushed, this is one of the only brushes that isnt those metal pieces that scratch or dig into his skin.perfectly palm sized and gets off way more hair then i thought,The only issue is taking the fur out of the brush bc it sits kinda deep so if u have chunky fingers id assume a pencil or something would be necessary to lift it up

I have tried using other grooming tools while bathing my dogs but this is the only one that helps to remove fistfulls of fur from the world's furriest, floofiest dog (who happens to be mine and named Lulu). The dog hates to be brushed but when she's in the tub and I use this tool she enjoys her massage. The fingers on it are long enough to get through her 17 layers of fur and help to dislodge the undercoat. One thump on the tub releases all the fur it's pulled off so I can keep trying in vain to render my dog bald. So far no success with that, but the Zoom Groom does a good job anyway.

This brush works great to brush out my pitbull/aussie mix. She has very short hair, the type that sticks into clothing like needles. The brush is easy to hold and has the rubber spikes that get all the loose hairs out of her, plus she loves it - it’s like a massage for her. She gets excited every time I pull it out. I also use it during baths to create a lather. I can see this being durable and I am happy with the purchase.
