The plastic and metal brackets and screws that go on the cable are missing. It is fairly difficult to remove the tiny screws from the old display without stripping them, and then you have to carefully fold the new cable over the bracket and hope that when you put the screws in they don't go through the cable. This wouldn't normally be enough for me to leave a 1 star review, but the description does say it is a "Complete" assembly, and the product photos show those parts are included. I ordered 3 of these displays and all 3 are missing the same parts.

Quality of screen is good and it gets the job done, but both hinge areas on screen cracked way to easy during during installation

I had my doubts about buying this because it is so expensive. DO IT if your screen is cracked, etc. Saved me a few hundred bucks- I fixed my screen with this purchase rather than just going with Apple. I’ve been waiting to write a review until I had the screen on for a few months. My MacBook has been to Europe with me and is used as a teaching laptop and this replacement screen has been absolutely perfect. 100% recommend buying this instead of having Apple fix it, just make sure you or someone you know is able to follow along with a YouTube video to fix the screen onto the keyboard piece of the laptop.

The display arrived missing a metal bracket that allows it to mount inside the chassis of the MacBook. I had to carefully peel it off the cable of my old display and carefully fold the ribbon cable onto that one, which was completely absurd. But failing that, it seemed like this display was working.... except for the corner, where there's a bunch of light bleed into the display. I'm not sure if the assembly is warped or has a component out of place, but the bottom left corner glows a lot brighter than the rest of the screen. Looks awful. Buy your replacement display elsewhere, this isn't it.
