Wore this set to a casual networking event, and I felt so polished but still comfortable. The vest has a flattering, slightly structured fit that makes the whole look feel pulled together without being too stiff. The shorts hit just right — not too short, not too long — and the material feels breathable for warmer days. I’ve already styled the pieces separately a few times too, which makes it feel even more worth it!!

When I first put this on, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it.I’m not a huge fan of high waisted anything, but I really wanted to love the best especially, so I had to try on the fit.First, the fabric is on the nicer side of ok. It’s not the softest or most luxurious, but it’s nice. The vest lining is soft and comfy though, not scratchy out itchy at all. It was a very pleasant surprise.Super impressed with the vest, comfy, adorable, and just a little peep of the belly.Buttttt, I was nervous about the shorts. I put them on, and with the vest I actually liked them! Add some cute heeled sandals and accessories, and this would be a cute sassy little outfit!It was actually pretty comfortable and is definitely wearable for a full day.I wish my torso were a little longer to give more of a break between the shorts and vest, but a reallly cute fit!Just one star off for the fabric being only on the nicer side of ok.

This 2 piece shorts set is perfect for summer gatherings, brunching, or even just to wear out shopping. It's very simple yet classy & timeless. You can dress it up with heels, or dress it down with some sandals or flats. The fabric has good weight to it, and the vest top has an inner lining. The fabric does wrinkle a bit so you'll have to steam or iron it after laundering. The vest is a little on the shorter side, but the shorts fit like high-waisted shorts. The fabric is thick enough so it's not see through or opaque. Overall, the price point is very reasonable considering the quality of the fabric & it's put together nicely.

This is a super cute set! I love that it can be dressed up or down and added to your summer wardrobe. It is pretty nice and thin material so it’s very lightweight. Great for keeping cool in the summer. It is a bit see through because of the light fabric shade and its thickness. But as long as you wear light undergarments it’s fine. Haven’t washed it yet so it may pill, the thin fabric does seem like something that might not hold out super long. Pretty good overall.

I have recently lost weight and gone into a size L. I ordered a size L in this, and should have gone 2 sizes more for the vest. I wear a 40G up top and this wouldn't even come close to closing. I realize I'm larger up top than average, but the waist wouldn't close up either. The pants fit great. (5' 8", 189 lbs).The color is not a saturated black, it's almost looks a little faded to me. The vest is entirely lined with a thick satin, and the shorts are opaque. The wide elastic waistband at the back of the shorts ensures a comfy fit through the waist. I did not care for the fabric at all. It is almost like a cheap linen and not soft. I don't think this is a $35.99 outfit, if I saw this on someone else I would assume it had been ordered from one of the websites that sells "fast fashion" and they paid very little for it.
