We are very impressed with the quality of this machine. It is easy to use, clean, reliable, and lightning fast. We can get through a 10 pound bag of ice in about 20 seconds and it’s finely ground Ice not big Shards you can cut your mouth on. It is not a small machine, but it’s still portable though a little bit heavy. I usually have my 6 foot male child carry it for me. He has no problems. Probably weighs about 20 pounds at most. It was definitely a good value and worth what we paid. In just a few uses it has paid for itself. It is relatively safe, but I would leave the ice grinding to an older adolescent or adult since it’s kind of high on the machine. It is kind of noisy, but only in bursts since you don’t have to run it continuously. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

My kids love snow cones as do most kids and even us adults. The first one arrived damaged beyond any repair as the box looked like it fell of the truck and was then hit by a passing car. The machine container was broken in many places. The vendor was very efficient in sending a replacement and then I was able to see how the packaging was supposed to be, which was very well thought out. The machine was easy to put together to the point that I didn't even need the directions. Basically, attach the handle, plug in the power cord, and attach the drain line and presto we were making snow cones. I had already ordered my favorite flavor, Tiger's Blood, from Amazon and we were ready. The ice from our freezer was used and it came out fluffy and soft. The flavor I added was exactly the same as the ones we pay for from vendors. My kids were ecstatic and now I will be making these all summer. The only thing that could be considered a ding is that the container is not powered so that it would have a way of keeping the ice cold and not melting so fast. Yes, it is thick plexiglass, but the ice still melts, especially since it has such small surface area. Oh well, I guess we will have to eat it all very fast...no problem here.
