Great quality, quick set up, and easy to throw on the side of the pack to make sure I get those steady shots for photos and video!! It's lightweight for the durability as well!! Worth the $$$ for a quality product like this!!

Got it cause it was from manfrotto and it didn't disappoint , I put it through beach sand during active waves and after shoot just removed it yes removed each parts individually they provide an Allen key and yes most of it can be easily dismantled or tightened they promote the consumer to do it no warrenty goes void . Apart from it my only qualm is ball head is not detachable and the base plate is not replaceable according to the internet.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. It's easy to set up, very stable, and light enough to carry all day. Well worth the investment!

Comienzo en la fotografía y cumple bastante bien con mis necesidades. Es estable y de excelente material.El instructivo es un poco confuso, pero es lo menos importante.

I’ve used a few different Manfrotto tripods, all within the entry-mid-level product line. This tripod carries the same genes with some minor improvements. It’s only fair to compare it and review it relative to other tripods in the same price range, and in general, it cannot be compared to a professional tripod. This tripod is for casual users who want a working solution. This tripod feels light, not as light as carbon fibre tripods, but light enough that hiking with it would not add a significant load. It folds up relatively small and isn’t too bulky. As a compromise to the lightness and compactness, it feels slightly unstable; you may need to add some weight to the included hook attachment.Ease of use is alright, nothing too special and don’t expect to use this tripod for video; while it can pan, it can’t be compared to a video tripod head. It gets the job done for photos, and that’s all I have to say. The head is the most stable/least flimsy part of the tripod. The legs seem like a future issue in the coming. The other tripods I’ve used were designed with clips or a much more solid-feeling tightening ring. It feels like it’s either not tight enough or any tighter, and you risk damaging the legs. I can also see the legs just wearing out in a year and refusing to lock or unlock. It does not have a very reassuring feel. Although once you get the legs extended, locked and ready to go, it feels like a nice light tripod.Overall, the weight and aesthetic design are the biggest pros for this tripod. The head is solid, not fantastic, but not lacking either. The portability and build are excellent (not comparing to carbon fibre). The leg extension mechanism is challenging and feels likely to break, but it works for now. Stability is a bit rocky, but that goes for almost all lightweight tripods; the tripod has no significant unwanted flex.*As a side note, instead of a hook attachment/end cap, it came with an extra flat one. I didn’t get a hook attachment but got a duplicate flat cap instead. However, I worked it out with Amazon support (they were great).

I love the size, stability, and quality of this tripod! Everything about this tripod feels mature, thoughtful, and polished. The rubber twist locks are thick, strong, and comfortable. The height is surprisingly good for a tall person like me. There are some heavy-duty plastic components, including the base plate. But they seem very high-quality.As far as travel tripods go, this is going to be the most sturdy. I tried other brands including the MeFoto backpacker (which is amazingly small and light) but it was too short for me and not stable enough to hold my large Canon DSLR and lenses. Other brands may offer almost the same height, but with the last leg segment barely thicker than a pencil.I also tried and returned two other non name-brand carbon fiber tripods which had the weight allowance but not the stability of legs due to rather flimsy carbon fiber legs fully extended. Finally, after a few weeks of searching, I decided to go with this Manfrotto because of the name brand and other positive reviews (elsewhere) for its stability.Other new brands seem nice but I was concerned about quality control issues and do not foresee these companies standing by their product like an established brand will. I wanted to love the carbon fiber tripods -- who wouldn't be exited about a 79" carbon fiber tripod for $99?!At the end of the day, I felt most comfortable placing my $2,000 Canon DSLR + zoom lenses on this tripod. I even walked around with the camera attached and the legs extended. No concern of the camera coming loose. If you're looking for a travel tripod, this is not going to be the lightest of the bunch. But it is still light and one of the best values out there by a reputable brand.
