I ordered this for my two kids and I to play (they're 4 and 12). It's been a hit, and hasn't lost it's entertainment value after 4 months of use. The cards are thick, well printed, high quality. The variety of cards is more than generous, if we play it on the bed I have to take out a few matches so there's enough room. If you're going to lay out ALL the cards you'll need a BIG table because there's so many! I think it's pretty cool though that the cards go beyond the basic space objects and have things like "active galactic nucleus" and "proto star". My kids love science and space so these were a hit with them. My 4 year old is a Memory Game master and often wins, but we all benefit from the repetition of seeing the cards and saying what they are in English and Spanish. Very smart game that sets up easily, keeps kids engaged, helps us learn new things and is just as easy to put back into the box. It's a little pricey at 20, but, I can for sure say we've gotten use out of it.

The majority of the images on these cards for The Universe Memory Game are relatively dark images against a dark background, making it difficult to see the details of the image being showcased. There needs to be more contrast between the image and the background. The dark background diminishes the ability for the uniqueness and individual qualities of the image to stand-out. In addition, more contrast would encourage recognition and memory retention of the image. The name for the image is printed in both English and Spanish on the lower front of each card. Not only is the name an educational aspect for identification of the image, but the printed name is also an aid for memory retention. The cards are laminated, easy-to-bend, and have rounded corners. I feel that the cards are quite over-priced at $20.00 (my price point).

This is a nice game, especially since it can be reduced in size for younger people and added back to as their skills improve. Like most memory games, this one is also appropriate for helping those with cognitive decline. I like educational games, and the focus on outer space is adding knowledge to an area I know little about. The bilingual approach is rather neat. I took Spanish in high school, but have had little opportunity to use it for years, so it is a nice refresher. The cards are of good quality, and the size is great for taking on trips. I think the it is priced a bit too high, but I still recommend this game which is suitable for all ages, kids to adult.

This matching game is a wonderful way to introduce children to a variety of space-related concepts. As a homeschooling parent, I’ve found it’s a fun, engaging way to encourage curiosity about space while keeping things light and simple.However, I do think $20 is a bit steep for a matching game, even one of this quality. That said, it’s still a great addition to any educational toy collection, especially for young space enthusiasts!

Space: the final frontier... Our ancestors have long gazed out at the stars and wondered about their place in the universe. There is something about outer space that is both beautifully haunting and inspiringly wonderful. This memory game set is a great way to introduce your little ones to the great awe-inspiring expanse that is the universe. What I love about this set is that it allows you to show your child the various planets, moons and star that make up our galaxy, while also introducing them to the tools, rockets and space stations we have used to explore this great mystery of outer space. I hope it at minimum inspires my daughter to wonder about mystery, and desire to explore what lies beyond her comprehension.The set comes with 30 pairs, which is a pretty good amount, especially for the younger crowd. It makes it challenging, without being overwhelmingly difficult. I also love the bilingual approach. We are interested in teaching our daughter Spanish, and this is just another way to incorporate the language in her play. The pictures are clearly artist renditions for the most part, but this is not a detraction. I find the pictures beautiful, and I think they do a good job of inviting that awe that the universe so inspires.I absolutely love this set. I would definitely recommend!

Las imágenes son increíbles! Son reales aunque al principio pensé que eran de fantasía.Gran juego para aprender del universo y dejarse maravillar. Ideal para cualquier edad.

Están muy bien impresas y las tarjetas están plastificadas, las imágenes también me gustaron mucho. Mi hijo las utilizó para una tarea y les encantaron. Las hemos jugado en familia y con amigos y es muy divertido. Diez de diez.

Estos juegos de memoria nos gustan mucho, mis hijos aprenden mientras se divierten, aprenden como se dice en español/ inglés, y nos gusta mucho el material, las imágenes.... son muy duraderas.
