I had previously purchased a unit, so it was exactly as I expected. It arrived in a timely fashion as promised. I am still relatively new to a table saw, but have found it to be provide much better results than with two push sticks.

I bought this for my husband after some 2x4 kicked back and almost hit him in the head whilst using the table saw. He took a look at it and declared it was too complicated to use. A gimmick.So the next day he again got to the table saw and yup, that 2x4 kicked right back and this time, didn’t miss! Got him on the index finger, took the nail and nail bed right off. Took him to A and E, X-ray showed it also cracked his finger bone. After some surgery to repair and very strong antibiotics to prevent infection he is now healed. But the nail is lost and will never grow back as is some amount of feeling at the tip of his finger. The doctor read him the riot act over how much worse it might have been. Well…Last week he went back to the table saw, and took another look at this gadget. Read the instructions, did some easy practice cuts. Then on the those darn 2x4s. Not a problem. Easy peasy, no kickback. No blood, no A and E. Total respect.My point is that if you are going to play with big boy tools, you need to be ready to also use big boy safety equipment. This fits the bill perfectly. It saves you from danger, kickback and blade. It’s well made and can be configured for very thin cuts. It’s sturdy and we will be using it EVERY TIME we get that saw out.It’s a bit expensive, but worth every penny. Don’t cut wood without it.
