This was a gift for my husband who doesn't like to "bother me" when he's playing his guitar. It works great, has extra features he wasn't expecting and hooked up to his Bluetooth headset without any problems

I am a novice bass player, I really can't say that since I play at learning the bass more than playing it. The Gitafish bass guitar Miniamp is a truly a very useful tool in my learning to play. I was looking at another miniamp that looked like a small amp and plugged in the instrument. But the thing that sold me on the GItafish was the Bluetooth connection. Whether I am using my phone or my computer with video lessons, I can connect with the miniamp and listen and listen to my play, so that is a main great point for this tool, as well as the practice that no one else in my house needs to hear.Now the not so good, I have to ensure that I check the volume level on both the bass and the miniamp, if I don't I get a hisss when I play and echo. With my P-bass I find that the clear is the best for the least amount of back noise, I am obliviously not skilled enough at this point to adjust my tone on the bass and the miniamp to get a quality sound. Would I recommend this to anyone else, yes. Like I said the ability to monitor your phone or computer while you play is a great plus.

It is very nice to practice bass on headphones. The sound is very clear, plus it has other features like fx.

This is an amazing little piece of equipment for a no hassle practice session. It easily works with jack plates that are face mounted or underneath.The Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect to your phone, tablet, PC and jam with backing tracks, YouTube, ChordU etc.NO!!! You will not get studio quality sound, but that is not what this is made for. It's designed to allow you to quietly practice without having to fire up those amps.All in all...it's a cool piece to practice with
