Thank you!!! for saving my dead Minka-Aire F1000, Dyno, Ceiling Fan.This receiver worked like a champ. I was afraid i was going to need to replace the entire fan, but then realized it can't be the fan motor because the light doesn't work either. I removed the steel cup that hides the ceiling mount and found the receiver; ordered this, and replaced it (the wires even have the same color code). Just be sure to power off (at wall switch or breaker) any other fans you have with remote controls so when you pair your remote to this receiver it doesn't affect them; then just return power to the fan with the new receiver and hold the center remote button for about ten seconds (it will flash a few times), and then you're back in business.

Simple to install and works well. This wires right into where the light switch wire attaches to the fan so no batteries need to be changed. Make sure to check the model on your fan or light to make sure this is compatible. You will also need the compatible Minka air light switch for this to work.

It wasn't the exact size of the original receiver. The hold down bracket wouldn't fit, but it had stickey pads to hold it in place. The original receiver had failed. It was easy to replace and now the fan works perfectly.

Worked for my FN1000 Minke Aire ceiling fan when it would no longer respond to remote commands. Checked the wiring and still had power to the box leads so deduced that it was this unit and it was. Fan now working as if it was new. Really wish manufacturers would be more straightforward about replacement parts, but was able to find this through the minka website and find a part that was close enough to the repair manual on Amazon

Ordené un receptor Minka Aire, y me mandaron este producto que no es el de la foto y no me funciona para mi ventilador!!!

With this receiver and one of two remotes, you can control your Minka fan without the extra wire in the wall..My room has only two wires (plus ground) from the switch to the fan. By installing this in the fan, and then getting one of two remotes from Minka, you can control both the fan and the light. Otherwise it would not be able to control both.It's relatively easy to install (you have to disassemble the entire fan to get to the top), but it takes only a few minutes to get it in there.And, I chose the wall switch remote, which wires to the power only, and then transmits signals to the fan to control both the fan and the light. It works perfectly.
