These work great for us. We have a security camera system that we wanted put up on a big screen TV.... the TV has other options - but the security system does not. Too complicated to hard wire so we gave this a try - and it worked great. now the Security system can stay hidden in a locked cabinet, yet the output can magically appear on the large TV for viewing. Great picture, easy to connect - very pleased. we liked it so much we bought another one for the business system too. both have been working well for almost a year with no issues.

I recently installed a projector in my house and wanted to avoid having to run a long HDMI cable throughout the room. After doing some research, I came across this product and decided to give it a try. Let me just say, I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed at how easy it was to use! I was able to get this working within minutes and am really happy I don't have to hide a long cord! The only downsides I could see to this is that it needs some sort of power connected to it and it's a little long, but other than that, I works wonderfully right now!

I used these to connect a friend's PC to an unused HDMI port on my monitor while I was working to fix a problem he had. Here's the caveat: The transmitting device needs to be booted and operational, otherwise, it probably won't be sending any signal to its HDMI output. Now for some devices like a streaming stick, the HDMI output may always be enabled (I'm just guessing... I don't actually own such a device). But for a Windows PC, don't expect to see the BIOS screens via this wireless interface. The first thing I see is the Windows splash screen as it's booting up. Other than that limitation, "plug and play" is an accurate description... I didn't have to configure or troubleshoot anything.I really appreciate that MpioLife provides a short HDMI extension cable as they correctly anticipated that the size of the receiver dongle was too large to access the HDMI port on my monitor. The other cabling challenge I had was getting USB-C power to the receiver dongle as my monitor does not have any powered USB connectors. Fortunately, I had a sufficiently long USB-A extension cable to extend the provided USB-A to USB-C cable.Once Windows was booted, the display seemed the same as if I was using an HDMI cable.I'm a bit suspicious that $129.99 seems to be a universal low-water price for wireless HDMI no matter whose solution you choose. It seems like the usual cutthroat market forces are not in play for this particular product category. Personally, I wouldn't pay that much, but I since I got it for free from Amazon Vine, I'm happy to have this wireless option. You'll have to decide for yourself whether your use case is worth $129.99 to you -- I suspect that someone will eventually break pricing ranks, and the prices will become dramatically lower in the not too distant future.

Have had this for several months now and it works great. You’ll need to have each of the RX and TX units powered up using a UBS-C connection (UBS or UBS-C can be on the other end). On the TX side you can connect the UBS-C to your laptop or your multiport hub for power. On the RX side just plug your UBS to your little charger plug.Pro-tip #1- having an extra male-female HDMI extension is useful if the units are unable to connect adequately in your HDMI port.Pro-tip #2. - When shopping, make sure you don’t buy a dongle to simply mirror your RX side - if it doesnt say that the RX side can act as a display extension, chances are it only mirrors, which is inconvenient for PowerPoint presentations in Presenter mode. This unit is perfect for Presenter mode.
