This is a great budget notebook for the paper quality. The binding feels a little crinkly but the paper inside is what counts. This feels fairly smooth and takes fountain pen ink well! I have a few tests in my photos that show what I was looking for. There is very minimal ghosting, only the tiniest dot of bleed through in one spot, and otherwise, this paper shows of shading and sheen well without any feathering! I'm very impressed. At the time of writing this, this notebook is about $10 normally and about $5 now because it is on sale. I think this is very worth the price considering that most bound notebooks like this that are advertised as fountain pen friendly are typically in the $20 dollar range at least.

This is a great quality journal with a beautiful fabric cover. Keep in mind, however, that fabric is going to pick up stains and smudges, especially with this light color. Always wash your hands before handling! Dot journals are great for using both Text and illustration, allowing you to orient your designs more freely or create grids. The creative possibilities are endless! And because of the good quality of this journal, it serves as a nice way of archiving your artwork, whatever form that may take.

This is a good quality dotted journal. The cover is a very heavy cardboard, cleanly wrapped in fabric. The fabric itself is close to a light aquamarine, which I really like because it feels a little more fancy than a neutral color. The paper is really thick and a nice quality, and the binding is evenly stitched. Some of the pages are a bit tight when you flip through, but they seem to be loosening up a bit with use. The elastic wrap for the outside and the attached ribbon bookmark are nice touches, too.

i was using this notebook as a therapy journey. it was super cute. but after 1 - 2 days of using the notebook, the pages are now warping. The pages are no longer flat. it's not just the pages I'm writing on, its all of the pages. it's slightly disappointing. i thought the pages would be thicker to prevent this from happening.
