I travel ultra-light with a personal sized bag only. It’s nice to have a smaller, packable bag for outings and shopping. I have a very small version of this one but it’s so thin it tears easily. This one is slightly thicker but also twice as large (about the size of a soda can when packed). I have another one that packs slightly larger but is much more durable with better pockets and I would choose that one over this. It’s attractive and well constructed though. Nothing wrong with it, just personal preference.Update: Having used this a bit, I find it annoying that the pack has a bunch of pockets, but none of them are actually secured by a zipper. The only zipper on the bag is the main one . Keep that in mind. The inner pocket has fold-over top, so at least you can keep your wallet in that, behind the zipper, but the outer pockets are all open and if you bend over, stuff may fall out.

First of all this bag packed down super small. As small as a water bottle (16 ounce). I was not expecting the color to be a tad bit darker than in the image, but it still looks good> when you unwrap the backpack it is folded inside out. The storage bag it is packed into is tethered to the bag. So, once you flip it right side, you’ll be able to see the straps and everything unravel. Keep that in mind since you will have to repack it in this order to store.You will have to store it inside out again.The Fabric is on the thin side but asoft material. The bag is light on its own. I can’t explain it. I really like this bag because I was not expecting it to fit so many things inside. I was able to fit 3 jogging pants and I wear larg clothes.I am a 2X. I was able to fit My panda scarf, 1 box light, 1 flashlight, 1 box that I had laying around, and I still had some room. If I wanted to squeeze more things in there I could.The backpack doesn’t have a padded back. Depending on how you pack things it will affect your comfort on your back. I reccomend putting the soft things against the back for comfort. I like that the side pockets have some stretch to it. The backpack is stylish as well. I was able to fit my JBL 5 speaker and a 16 oz standard water bottle into the side pockets. I am not sure if it will fit a Nalgene bottle because it does not strech a lot.I still had enough room to carry more things in the front pocket of the backpack and in the internal pocket. The backpack fit comfortably on me. I am a 2X in women’s and an XL in men’s.I am 5'8. The straps do not have padding, but with the items that I was carrying, I did not feel discomfort on my shoulders. This little backpack can carry a lot for a day hike. I cannot wait to take this out on a day hike. I usually carry a REI 25L day pack, but I needed something for my motorcycle in case I wanted to go on a light hike and take some things. That is why I was so impressed how smal this bag packed down. The backpack is a little hard to pack back into its sack. It would be better if the sack had some stretch or was a bit bigger since it does not pack back down to how it was when new.Other than that I do recommend if you just need a light backpack or need something that doesnt take up room.

Extremely thin material that i don't think it can hold much heavier stuff. The size is good. The material and tbe structure seem flimsy. Would not recommend

This is an awesome day pack and compact to fold up when not using. It’s super lightweight, waterproof and high quality. I gave it to my husband as a gift filled with other items for trail hikes or camping and he loves it. It’s a grab and go bag for him and the perfect size! The zipper moves smoothly and doesn’t catch. Great compartments and overall quality.

Love this backpack. It’s very lightweight. You can pack it down to a tennis ball-size package for travel. It carryies a ton of stuff. The zipper is super quality and works perfectly. The material seems much better than the material of another backpack I owned from a very well-known brand. Overall, I’m impressed and happy with this product..
