Size L:OK - first thing: it's big. Nikon D7500+Sigma 150-600 zoom fits no problem. The material has what my wife calls "drape". Which is fantastic. I have a previous rain cover which is stiff and gets stiffer in cold weather. When it rains. Haven't used this in anger as yet, but it just fits like a glove.I'd get the smaller sizes if really long lenses aren't going to be used. While it is feasible to "bunch up" the fabric on top of the lens and camera, a smaller model for smaller lenses is probably sensible.Size M:I weakened and bought the smaller size too. The medium fits my D7500+300mm f4+tc1.4 ensemble perfectly (with the 300mm's lens hood). It's definitely the size to get for anything short of a ridiculously long lens! My only downside is that it increases the sail area of the setup. We had steady 40+kph winds yesterday and I tried it just to see how bad it would be. Bad. So if you're birding, you'd need shelter :)

I managed to take the cover out in the rain recently (it's Britain, so didn't need to wait long!).The rain cover comes in its own little bag made of the same material, allowing for easy and compact storage. The camouflage is effective and being reversible offers some flexibility. The cover is easy to fit and is quite soft and silent during use. The velcro fasteners held well, in fact never needed adjusting during the time I was out despite frequent moving to new locations. The clear panel at the rear was good enough to review images on and there was plenty of room to allow free movement around the camera body. The cover provided more than enough room for my Canon EOS90D with Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens.Would I buy this again if needed? Without hesitation. It does the job very well, taking over an hour of moderate rainfall. Would I be daft enough to purposefully go out with my camera in the rain again? Probably not, but knowing I have an effective cover if the weather changes (it is Britain!) provides me with peace of mind.
