Replaced a $ockler 2 piece chuck that was a PIA to use with this Nova. I have a number of Nova's woodturning lathe items. Evey one of them is of great quality, fit and finish. Durable.

Well it's teknatool so great quality. Very smooth operation. Handles large bits up to 1/2 inch. I'm using this on a Grizzly wood lathe the only issue is it will not fully seat in my tall stock unless you run the tall stock out approximately 1/2 inch. This is due to the flat spots on the tail of the chuck, this has not been a big issue but felt it was important to pass along. Over all very happy with it.

It's really hard not to give this item a 5 star review. The chuck comes lightly oiled in a form fitted package. It's an MT2 sized chuck with fits most midi lathes on the market right not. Nova makes great products and I continue to be impressed with their quality and customer support.One thing that I would mention is to make sure your tail stock is engaged approximately 1" towards your head stock when inserting this chuck. Otherwise you might sit there scratching your head as to why this MT2 chuck doesn't fit into your MT2 tail stock........Great product! Highly recommended.
