These taste very nice. The pieces are small. I top my cats and dogs meat dish with a sprinkle of them but because they are very small pieces there’s a lot of powder in the bottom of the cam well over a cup worth so I just use it in my soup But the animals love it as a treat it’s clean and pure, which is important, no bones

Fantastic!Great quality lean white chicken from from whole meat, no bulk additives.Shelf stable so can keep on hand for quick cooking for one or two. I have chronic illness and energy issues so this both provides great protien and is so easy to use. Just scoop a half cup out, toss it in your soup, it hydrates right there. Easy peasy.I waited a long time to try dried meat because the cost seemed high. I've changed my mind. Doing the math with canned 5oz or 12oz servings, it's quite comparable. Plus no mess and far fewer preservatives and sodium.Highly recommend. My picture shows my Ramen. I used freeze dried chicken, spinach, tomato, and bell pepper powders. A block of Gluten Free Ramen, and assorted spices and such. The chicken is so real it's actually "stringy" with the grain like fresh. No sludge here.

I love this stuff for backpacking and camping, lightweight, single ingredient. And easy to reconstitute and flavor it up. Lasts forever and is a giant can. I appreciate that they don't add salt so you can flavor it however you like and if you're worried about sodium there is no added sodium to start. Great product

Looks good, smells good, tastes good to me.While I have options like this for emergency use, I buy this primarily for lazy use. If I really dont want to make a special trip to store and somehow have run out of chicken at home, then I can dip into this for a handful of chicken cubes to add to my dish. I use this brand and a couple of others. Nearly all the same to me.Further, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I always add bits of chicken to top their kibble off with. Hence why I may find myself suddenly out or short on chicken. I go through a lot. Having back up in the form of freeze dried chicken has been ideal. My cats arent much for eating straight chicken, but I can take a cube and press it between my thumb and finger to have an intriguing cascade of white chicken powder rain down onto their wet food or dry kibble. Magic!I add a little water to rehydrate, or I pinch it to make dust. Just depends on what it is for, when it is for, and who it is for.My container is not dust. But dust will happen toward the bottom, no matter the brand. It will take me awhile before I see this, so in mean time all I see are cubes. Since I use this primarily for my dogs and cats, they really dont mind what form it is in. If I were using this exclusively for myself, I would be pleased with how it looks. When I use it, I usually just toss in a handful to a large mug of sipping broth. It is perfect for that.Or one of my quicky faves: I love chicken pot pie. I dont always have the stuff to make it. Or I dont want to. But I do love taking a can of white beans (navy, cannellini, or garbanzo) and processing it with my immersion blender with a little water or broth (water and dry bouillon usually) to make a "gravy" (takes seconds), then add seasonings, some frozen mixed veg like that is seen in pot pies, and warm it all up. I toss in some chicken cubes. VOILA. Healthy chicken pot pie guts. Doesnt take like beans. If I really want a bread/crust/pie vibe, then I will have a slice or ten of toast to dip. Or canned crescent rolls, something like that. I suppose now we are venturing into chicken and biscuit territory.I dont rate on price, but I comment. I thought $51 for 19 ounces was reasonable compared to some options. I try to get most bang for my buck by comparing price per ounce. This happened to be pretty good at time, so I bought 2. (Their price for a 4 pack bundle is NOT a savings at all, so be aware).

Bought this for my cat who lives for this late evening treat. Tried two other brands targeted for cats and dogs and almost always had to throw away at least a quarter of it. If my cat turns down a piece of freeze dried chicken it has to taste bad and he was turning away from far too much of a product that’s an expensive treat. When I saw this advertised as people food I figured there would be much better quality control. And I was right. I pick out any 5 of the pieces and he eats them all.I gave the product 4 stars because a minimum of an eighth of the canister was chicken dust. I’m sure the canisters are reasonably full when shipped but naturally settle leaving an inch, inch and a half of space at the top. By the time it reaches the consumer too much of the diced chicken has disintegrated into dust from the bumping around it gets. This problem could be solved by shrink wrapping the chicken before putting it in the can. This might mean a smaller can size would be needed saving a bit of money but the big benefit would come from people finally getting full value for their money. It would add to the cost of packaging but who wants to have to throw away so much of what they paid for that’s useless dust? I’d rather pay a bit more and be able to use all of what I paid for. From the reviews I’ve read a whole lot of buyers would agree with me.?
