The dress worked out great for a medieval festival. I did wear a crinoline underskirt to make the bottom fuller and lift it off the ground enough to not walk on it. The material was soft, thin, and cool but not see through. I'm 5'4" and 140 lbs with an apple shape if that helps your decision. It was true to size on their sizing chart. I was between two sizes on the chart and ordered the larger size but could have worn the smaller size I believe. I did replace the black and white cord tie with a solid black cord but that was just my preference. I received tons of compliments :)

The dress was really nice and pretty. But, unless I recieved a fluke, ran really small.I went by the measurements, than ordered two sizes up. (Just in case.) My head barely fit into the waist hole and wouldn't go past my shoulders. And since, I had ordered the largest size, I couldn't return for a larger size. I just returned the dress and started my search again.
