I hate ladders!I have several medical problems that mean that climbing ladders is a bad idea for me.So I limit myself to a frame ladders up to maybe 10 feet.But this ladder light, maneuverable, easy to use and real durable.At the time I bought it I got it for a great price approximately $52.00.Just can't beat it even it twice the price.So well, I still hate ladders. I hate them a little less because of this one.

Vale la pena. Los materiales son muy resistentes y lo mejor es el tamaño compacto que tiene al guardarse. tal cual se especifica el producto tiene sus niveles de seguridad, desde sus ganchos en la parte superior, la forma de las patas, un tipo resorte de aire para que al cerrar no te aplaste los dedos (pero las primeras veces si asusta jajaja) es ligera para la resistencia que tiene y se puede guardar en un rinconsito. Excelente escalera. muuuuy recomendable.

Flimsy plastic button broken on arrival. Shame because it otherwise may have been decent. Cannot have major parts relying on a 2mm thickness of flimsy plastic though.

Used another ladder I borrowed from a neighbor and had to get help opening and using it because of it's weight.Then I purchased this ladder and was able to open it and use it with no assistance. Reaches past the roof edges and extremely easy to handle. Love the ladder.

I bought this to get into our attic. The access hole is in our closet with a shelf just below it so I can't use an A-frame ladder and an extension ladder is too big to fit in the closet. The access hole is 22" wide and this ladder fits up through the hole while other compact ladders are too wide at the top and bottom. With this ladder I can easily bring it into our closet and extend it into the access hole and safely get into our attic. No other ladder can do that. I can also extend this from our second story window for emergency evacuation from the second story. As a straight ladder I do not need to have each step extended for stability, so I only extend to the height I need. As an A-frame ladder it must be fully extended to max height since the steps only lock when extended or the other side will move as you climb making it too unsafe. I visually look at each step lock to see if it is locked before climbing or damage and injury will occur. Not suitable for industrial use but great for occasional use if you're not rushed.
