But as for making silly music, this is an excellent choice. As far as difficulty to use, I’m not sure, because — as a cellist — the recipient picked this up really quickly. But, no doubt, figuring it out is half the fun.

Das "Otamatone Neo" ist mein erstes Otamatone und ich bin vollends begeistert. Natürlich kann man hier kein richtiges Instrument erwarten (da ist wohl eher das Deluxe in Erwägung zu ziehen), mit mittelgroßen bis kleinen Händen lässt es sich aber relativ gut spielen. Man darf nur nicht erwarten, jeden Ton perfekt zu treffen. Das macht aber irgendwie auch den Charme aus 😊Zur Orientierung hilft es sehr, wenn man sich mit einem Stimmgerät und etwas Kreppband die Tonskala am Otamatone notiert.OTM Link funktioniert bei mir (Android) leider nicht. Dafür kann man von dem TRRS Jack den Output vom Otamatone abgreifen. Das wird nicht (?) offiziell beschrieben, mit einem TRRS (male) zu TRS (2x female) Splitter kann man das Otamatone dann aber auch über Kopfhörer spielen. Das Otamatone Neo selbst ist sehr leise, sobald man ein Kabel in den OTM Link Jack steckt. Eignet sich also sehr gut zum Üben.Ich kann das Otamatone Neo nur empfehlen.
