I got these the other day and tried them out today. I got them to use while paddleboarding here in Tennessee. I don't plan on submerging in the water, but as my board is a hybrid (half kayak half SUP) sometimes a little water can splash up on the deck and sit there. The water is COLD now so I knew I needed something. Today I went out and because of the wind, some water did splash up on the board. I was kneeling in a small puddle of water and the water didn't even permeate the neoprene.I was concerned w/ the fit as these are mens' style and I am a 5'4", 175lb curvy woman. I got the XL and when I took them out of the package I thought they must have been mis-sized. But, nope. I pulled them on and lo and behold then stretched and FIT. I had to pull from the upper legs to find some extra stretch to get over my butt, but they comfy and stretchy. There is an extra stretchy side panel that really helps w/ the fit. I am able to go from kneeling to standing on my board w/ ease. No restriction from the pant. I am VERY happy I bought these.
