I needed some long screws to secure a 2x6 header over a garage door into the studs that were cut above it. I went to the hardware store and was horrified at their price, so Amazon to the rescue. These screws shipped quickly and appear identical to what the hardware store was selling. I finished my project this weekend, the screws drove well with the included bit. The self drilling portion did a good job of pulling itself into the wood with relative ease. Due to the length I was driving them with a 3/8” Milwaukee stubby impact, no issues with broken screws or similar. I would buy these again if needed.

We are using these screws on posts for features in a mountain bike terrain park. The screws have worked well and the impact driver has had no issue with securing the screws in the pressure treated wood. However, the picture shows longer threads on the screws. Each screw has threads about 1/5 the length VS 1/3 to 1/2 as image shows which is a loss of a star.

Easy to drive these 6 inch screws into wood with the provided driver The knurl right above the threads allows for drawing in (tightening) of the two pieces of wood which is a great feature
