Bought the two-way locking version. Not a fancy door, but very inexpensive for the quality. Called PetSafe with selection questions and was impressed with the US-based support.Would have been nice if they included some sort of lining rather than suggest the use of duct tape, but I was able to 3D-print a suitable flange. Ever so slightly noisy, but that was fixed with a little bit of silicone lubricant. Ball bearings would have been a nice upgrade but would have added to the cost. Included screws were apparently sheet metal and not wood screws per my tradie but they worked fine. The double-sided tape had a little thickness that left a visible gap, took these off and clamped with a bit of solvent glue for 24h for a cleaner look.Don’t think I would have gotten close to 5x the value out of a door costing 5x as much. A little fussy but you get what you pay for and a little extra work makes it an even nicer product.

This looks amazing when assembled! It was easy to install and there was no hassle putting it on the door. Just make sure you cut a bit smaller than the paper template so you can fit the piece in all snug. My cat had no issue going in and out of the flap once she figured it out. The lock also works very well!

No es fácil de instalar, se requieren cortes complejos o un carpintero/herrero que te ayude pero funciona de maravilla!

Este tipo de puertas suelen venir con un túnel para ajustarse al ancho de diferentes puertas (paredes) esta no tiene el túnel así es que tienes que adaptar algo para rellenar el hueco que queda si tu puerta es un poco mas ancha que lo que cubre la puerta de mascotas.

La puerta es todo lo que dice , soolo considerar que si queda un hueco en medio que se tiene que tapar con cinta , ya que no incluye un tunel, fuera de eso perfecto

Viene con instrucciones claras de como instalarse y entrenar al animal para usarla. Pero si la instalas en una puerta que sea hueca/de tambor queda un espacio entre ambas partes de la puerta que tiene que cubrir con lo que dios te de a entender porque el kit no viene con nada para cubrir esa parte, y seria muy facil para instecto y roedores usarlo de madriguera.

La instalamos sin necesidad de desmontar la puerta. No tuvimos el problema de que quedara espacio entre las dos piezas como otras reseñas decían, pero eso depende del grosor de la puerta. El primer día la dejamos abierta (la tapadera) para que entraran y salieran los gatos sin tener que empujar. El segundo día les estuvimos enseñando como pasar cuando la puerta está cerrada. Rapidamente aprendieron.

La puerta funciona perfectamente. En sí es fácil de poner, a tener en mente es el tipo de puerta donde va a ser instalada, en mi caso fue una puerta de aluminio (realice el corte con disco y fue laborioso) y no necesité poner la contra. Cómo dato adicional, no es de cierre hermetico.

Excelente para mis mishis puedan entrar y salir a su gusto, hay personas que califican mal quesque tiene pésimo diseño porque sus puertas son gruesas (al igual que la mía) pero el diseño es excelente, queda en puertas delgadas y gruesas, por algo te ponen 2 piezas, el hueco que quede entre tu puerta y las piezas de la puerta de mascotas se rellena, yo le puse espuma de la que se expande y está perfecto.Además te están dando las medidas y se ve claro que para el embone el Marquito no es grueso, y vienen y se quejan y califican mal wtf

ahora puedo mantener una puerta cerrada en la casa, que tenia abierta para que mi gato saliera al arenero, le tomo solo un dia adaptarse a la puerta, cuando llego la vi muy pequeña, pero quedo perfecta para mi gato de 5.7 kilos =^.^=

For the low price of this door, $8, I was halfway expecting no so great of a product. I thought I might as well try it and replace it later if it didn't work. We had a pet safe model cat door at our old house, and when we moved I tried to but the same thing.I'll admit I must have been distracted or something when I bought this, because it thought it was for exterior door use. It is not. But that is clearly included in the description. My fault.Since we moved our pets to the new house before we lived there, we needed a way for the cats to get inside for food and to be out of the elements. I realized my this product is for interior doors but installed it anyway on the exterior door to our garage. It's has been on there for eight months now, and functions so well I don't wish to change it.What makes it for interior doors only is that it is missing the piece in the middle which covers the exposed inside of the door that you cut a hole in. I Cut a strip of Formica that I had and put it in the middle of this cat door to keep the rain and moisture out of the inside of the door. So far this has worked great.As far as I can tell the build quality and materials used in the interior door are the same as the exterior pet doors. Well made thick hard plastic sides and hinged door. It swings open easily and has the ability to lock if you feel the need.Obviously I don't recommend anyone to use this inside door on the outside door, but my point is that it is very well made and durable. Not a different flimsy grade or anything because it's meant for inside.The magnet is holding up great, I have had no problems with it falling out as a few people have mentioned. We have two cats that go inside and put quite a bit throughout the day and night, so I know it gets quite a bit of use.The instructions are easy to understand, they tell you exactly what you need before you get going so there are no surprises. There is a bit of overlap in the pieces so in case you are not perfect with your cuts it will not show when the door is installed.
