I have several dozen balanced cables in my studio for interconnecting microphones, recording equipment, mixers, effects, etc., but this particular pair of cables is now running from my DAC to my stereo inputs in my listening room system. I wanted really good quality cables to allow for absolutely clear playback of music in my system, because in addition to listening to general music, I wanted to listen to mixes of in-process songs I am working on with various bands. I also like my cables to be short, to keep the equipment area neat. This cable set fully met my expectations. It was, however, quite a bit stiffer than any other balanced cable I have used, and will require a bit more space to curve into a 90 degree turn to extend from one connection to the other. Was not an issue where I used it, but I also felt I need to support them a bit to avoid damage to the connectors if they are jostled during vacuuming or equipment movement.

I’m pleasantly surprised that the quality of the cables exceeds way beyond my expectations. Love the shiny silver shell of the plugs and the cable sheath. They look super premium! More importantly they make audible difference for my mic. Definitely would look out for other cables from the same brand.

At the time of buying these and writing this review these cables had yet to be rated/reviewed. Decided to take a chance on these because I’m a huge sucker for anything purple. They arrived packaged well and in a big anti static bag. They have a good weight to them and the connectors are solid and hefty. The techflex that these are sleeved in is tight with no kinks or bubbling and they are still easily manipulated to get them into a close to the wall setup. Audio wise I am getting balanced from a topping EX5 to a SMSL A0200 and I get no interference or noise, Dead quiet. I no doubt suggest these cables be given a go for the price, the build quality, and the looks are all top notch.
