Had trouble getting a steady flow of steam and couldn’t get it to actually warm the milk. The wand got hot enough that it burned the milk on and made it difficult to clean without an abrasive sponge. I tried to make the hole larger, but didn’t seem to help. Maybe the 3 hole would’ve worked better, but because of the cleaning issue, I’m gonna stick with using the factory silicone wand with a zip tie to hold it in place — much better consistency. Because I had to modify, I probably can’t return. I used on a Delonghi ECP3420.

It stays on and doesn't rattle or anything, but even with either size o-ring, it's not flush with the black plastic of the original steam wand; the metal nozzle points up towards you, and has a terrible screeching sound when it's used - I think from leaking air/steam, as felt with a paper towel at the join. When it works, it's okay and I enjoy the extra length. But I might put the original rubber tip back on and deal with the short length anyway since it's just unreliable overall.EDIT: The more I use the nozzle, the better it seems to be working and the less screechy it is, so I've updated the review. Still not 5 star due to the really awkward fit, though.

I bought this for my DeLonghi, ECP 3220 to replace the milk frothing nozzle it came with. The original milk frother nozzle injects too much air too quickly into whatever I’m steaming. This product comes in either a one-hole or three-hole option. I chose the one-hole option and is the product I’m reviewing.I am fairly new to Espresso and coffee drink making, but am obsessed with making the perfect espresso shot and latte. However, I don’t want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars “learning” to get this right. This product therefore gets 5 stars for price. When you remove the original frother that comes with the 3220 model, it leaves a rather short, rubber spout, which is actually too short to steam milk properly. This nozzle fixes that problem and is definitely long enough to get into most steaming pitchers. Realize that a steaming nozzle is only as good as the steaming pressure coming out of the machine. The 3220 lacks this in my opinion. With some practice however, you can learn to get some great steamed milk. It took several tries and changing the angle of the pitcher frequently before I got the paint-like consistency I was looking for. Also, it takes a pretty good amount of time to get the milk up to temp. I’m not sure if the three-hole option would improve this. For overall quality and the product being as described, I give it five stars. For performance I will have to give it only four stars, realizing that the 3220 has its limitations, and may be the reason it took so long to steam 6 ounces of milk properly.Overall I’m very satisfied

I've tested it on the Dedica and the ECP and can confirm it works with both. It also works great on oat "milk" in addition to regular dairy milk. The stock panarello is known to over-froth milk. While there are plenty of tutorials on how to open up your machine and install a Rancilio steam wand (thanks Tom's Coffee Corner!), this steam tip gets you most of the way there without having to open and re-assemble your machine. This is made from a high-quality stainless steel. It's quite heavy, but still heats up quickly from the initial purge of hot water from the steam circuit. It does get hot, so be careful after you've finished steaming. And, be sure to wipe and purge immediately after steaming to clean it. It's not the end of the world if you forget because you can simply take it off and clean it manually before re-installing it.My one regret is getting the one-hole version and not the three-hole version (which works faster at the expense of being more difficult to control).
