This placement is under the passenger side dash, where the passengers feet rest. Remove the piece on the right side of the center console (again under the dash) and it's a remove and replace job. Easy peasy.

I change my cabin filter every year before winter for good air flow and clean cabin air. Great sturdy unit for the price.
