Was a pain to take out the old one and to put in the new one. Finally got it installed to find out that it doesn't work. Something is wrong with the solenoid part of it because when I hook the battery up without the key in the ignition there are sparks at the terminal amd it powers the starter the instant the battery cable touches the battery terminal. And when this happens it only spins the starter and it doesn't push the gear to the flywheel. So it doesn't work in two ways. Now I'm ticked because they say I can't return it after 30 days. I wasn't able to get to it right away because I'm busy and it also took forever to actually get it put in because it's a pain to get to. NOT happy at all with this part and company. They don't stand behind their product for more than 30 days.

I'm not sure how long the starter will last but it's a fraction of the cost that you will pay at a parts store. $67 vs $255 the disassemble and installation isn't the easiest on a Chevy Traverse. The starter has been installed now for a few days everything appears to be fine my car is starting instantly. I'm very pleased with this particular starter.

This item exceeds my expectations. My car wouldn’t start when it’s hot, it turns out the starter was failing. I searched a found this replacement on Amazon. It was delivered within two days. I had it installed and this was the first time in the five years my car starts like it was brand new. The price was great and deeply satisfied.

Price was lower than most. Quality was just as good as original. Installed easy my 2008 GMC Acadia starts up every time now definitely recommend
