Fit like a charm no issues and a lot cheaper than the parts stores are asking

I bought this online only because it already had the pulley installed. My original pump had a small leak (a few drips after parking overnight). I replaced it with this pump and all new lines. Installed it all (in 5 degree New England weather), bled out the air, and on the very first drive I could hear the whirring sound of a leak. Within a day it was leaking 1/2 a quart of power steering fluid daily and even with the reservoir filled to the correct level it was extremely difficult to turn and made horrible noises. Too dangerous to drive, I parked it until the following weekend and put UV dye in the reservoir (whole engine compartment was too oily to visually trace the leak at this point). The leak was coming from the retaining spring area at the bottom of the pump. I recorded a video showing it dripping, but there were too many bad words I used in the balmy 14 degree weather to include it.Bottom line: Not only was the brand new replacement FAR WORSE than the original, I spent hours removing the original to put this one in, hours tracing the leak, and then hours removing it and putting in a good one from the local auto parts store. That, and the UV dye, extra power steering fluid, engine degreaser, kitty litter for the driveway puddles of steering fluid that I had to buy. Borrow a pulley puller from your auto parts store when you buy a good pump and relax that you'll only have to do it once.

Purchased this January 25/2024 and July 15/2024 the pulley started wobbling and need a new pump again. Poor quality, I’ll buy OEM as they stand behind their products

Replacement fairly easy on 2007 Pontiac G6 with V6 since its on the top of the belt scheme. The replacement pump had a slightly smaller diameter pully which had me worried at first but decided it might have enough idler pulley take-up so I tried it. It works fine so don't let that stop you.Recommendations - Add fluid, lift front wheels and without starting engine, turn steering wheel full left, full right about 20 times until the bubbles go down in pump reservoir. Then start car and do it another 10 times until it sounds smooth and doesn't whine. Check fluid level again, don't overfill. This has been running for about a week and I'll update if it quits again ever. Car had 135K miles on it and pump started leaking. Dont let this go too long because if the pump blows up it will get metal in the rack and pinion unit and then you might as well send it to the junkyard - at least with the V6. That engine is really jammed in tight and terrible to work on .

Had to change the pully as it was 1" smaller than the original.
