It holds 12fluid ounces, not a 16fluid ounce pint. But it is great for transferring beer to the bottle and into the glass. A smooth pour is probably best to keep it from overflowing with foam.

We took a tour of The Samual Adams Brewery in Boston, and bought the glasses at the gift shop. We broke 2 by accident. I wanted to replaced the 2 glasses for my husband for Fathers Day. He was so excited. They look nice, and shipped FAST. Thank you!

I purchased the Sam Adams beer glasses for my best friend Tom. Sam Adams is his favorite beer. Tom and I had read about the glasses on the back of a beer coaster at a restaurant. The information on the glass stated that it was designed and laser etched to optimize the taste of the beer. We laughed about it but I saw that Tom was interested. So for his birthday I bought him two of the glasses.I saw him last night and he swore to me that his beer taste better when he drinks it from the new glasses. Normally I would not believe such a statement but Tom is a bit of a beer aficionado. Beer is to him what fine wine and cigars are to consumers of those products. So not only did the glasses serve as a fantastic birthday gift for my best friend, they also passed the beer taster's test.By the way Tom says he really enjoys a beer in his new glasses when he has put the glass in the freezer for about an hour.Awesome product! It made my friend happy and his beer taste better.

My only complaint is that it has Sam Adams on the glass. You Should be able to buy these without the Label on it. Maybe just a ghosted or glass eitching of Sam Adams at the bottom Like Riedel does.Pros Glass is perfect for a beer.Brings the smell(nose) of the beer right up towards your nose. Smells amazing. Ocotber fest Cherry Wheat or just plain Sam are awesome in this glass.Love the feel!!! I think this is one of the best mugs i have ever held. The bottom is very thick and comfortable, while the top is sturdy but light and easy to hold.Tulip! Love the feel of this on the lips. the beer flows in your mouth like it was made to go there.Laser Tech. Works the beer is always airating out the bublbs and softens it on your toungue for optimal sweetness and smoothnessConsThe label. I mean this is a glass that is made by a top of the line glass company I believe owned by Riedel and I think they should offer it without the kind of Tacky Sam Adams label. With all do respect to the Sam Adams brand...It's just a bit of a bummer to not have a choice in owning this without the branding of a corporation.I will buy more in the future..I do not recommend the larger size. This one is perfect

When I first saw this glass at a Total Wine & More store, I was skeptical. After watching a few reviews on YouTube, I was more convinced. After this glass was out of stock at my local store for a few weeks, I went to my favorite online resource, Amazon.com. This beer glass does make a difference in the flavor of the beers that I drink. The glass was designed with Samuel Adams Boston Lager in mind, but my preference in beer is Stone Brewing IPA, Lagunitas IPA, or Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA, all of them tasting noticeably better in this glass. The small circle of laser etching inside the bottom of the glass does keep the bubbling going longer. The shape of the glass spreads the liquid, and therefore the flavor of the beer over more of the tongue, the smaller area where you hold the glass causes less warmth to transfer from your hand, and the large upper area offers more area for you to enjoy the aroma of your beer. While on a recent trip, I had the unfortunate experience of drinking one of my favorite beers from a small motel glass, and that really brought home how well this glass works. If you are still not convinced, take a look at the reviews on YouTube.
