This is a really nice ultralight baitcasting reel. The spool only weighs a quarter of an ounce it is very light and it spins up easily allowing me to cast 1/8 oz or lower lures on 20 lb braid. The magnetic braking system is excellent , especially for a real costs under $50. This real is an excellent value for the money, it is very attractive to look at it comes in right hand and left hand and I have one of each. Fitbit comes with a low capacity and a high capacity spool , and It has 11 ball bearings including ceramic bearings in the spool. Everything that rotates has a ball bearing on it. It has at least 12 lb of drag according to my measurements. But it has a delicate little spool I would not advise dragging giant fish in on it with the drag locked all the way down , you might tweak the spool. You would be hard-pressed to find better casting real with more features at this price. Okay I'm going to use this baitcaster on a weekly basis for the next month or two and I will report back on its durability.

A Great entry level BFS ( Bait Finesse System) reel. this Seasir Mansory BFS baitcasting reel is lightweight , smooth, comfortable to palm, easy to adjust (tune) and has a shallow (BFS) spool and a deep (standard) spool. I typically run 6# fluorocarbon; one must know that BFS means the line, rod & reel, are all specialized to meet the requirements for casting light or ultralight lures, with precision & accuracy, not necessarily distance. Once these demands are met, the rewards are a very enjoyable experience.

Very smooth retrieve. Comes with 2 spools. Shallow spool casts light lures and jigs with ease. The magnetic brake works well. Very little backlashes if you know how to set the tension knob and adjust down on the brake as you get a feel for the reel and increase your cast distance.

So far this reel feels no different from my high dollar reels cast really well easy to dial in the key is to see how long it will last I fish only salt water.

Reel is great for the price. Performs well. Only gripe is the spool and frame leaves enough space for lighter line to wedge between sometimes.. had to go up to 8lb test or higher to prevent this from happening.
