These are great media blocks. They provide a LOT of surface area for beneficial bacterial to inhabit. They are great to add to a sump- And a great way to "seed" a new aquarium.I keep them in my frag tank, and just let them sit. They help with filtration in the frag tank, but are ready to go if I need to start up a new tank in a hurry!

I do not have the necessary equipment to test all the minute parameters since introducing these to my pond, but I believe them to be helping. Only time will tell.

Added these on two different sumps in saltwater set ups. They seem to function as expected and are easily stacked.

Easy to fit them in my media try but had to break a few into smaller chucks for perfect fit
