Great chair overall. A little difficult to assemble….I had to have my husband help me assemble the back and the seat of the chair because I couldn’t hold them together tight enough with one hand and screw in the bolts that hold them together.Once assembled the chair is great. It swivels and is oversized making it comfortable to sit in. It’s easy to swivel left or right when you need to stand up and does not require you to move the chair physically, just swivel and stand up.Gave 4 stars because of the challenges with assembly. Outside of that I would recommend this.

This item has got to be the most intriguing purchase. I have bought off of Amazon and a very long time.I read through the comments and decided to make the purchase anyway, and I was met with the same issues that a lot of previous purchasers had and so I am going to try my best to explain to you what you need to do. Should you purchase this chairImmediately upon step one requires that you take the base of the chair and the bottom of the chair and put them together by use of two little black “nubs” for lack of a better word. Then use two screws to secure it.I highly recommend that you get assistance when starting with step one get a friend a boyfriend a family member to help you this is going to make assembly so much easier. You are going to need to hold the chair together while the other person drills the chair together with the two screws that will go at the bottom of the base of the chairOriginally it took me about an hour and a half to put the chair together, and I went through the same thing that previous purchasers went through as soon as I sat in the chair, the back of the chair when I will lean back, felt very off and it didn’t feel secure to lean all the way back.This is user error, I had not properly put the chair together, so I use the help of another person and I held the pieces together while that person drilled the chair togetherThis is the BEST way that I explain this to you. THREE TIMES I HAVE TRIED TO HELP NEW SHOPPERS by making a review for this chair and the app keeps deleting it before i hit submit.I digress , this chair with the value included is outstanding And the sturdiness of this chair is accurate. The chair is exactly like the photo in every way ONLY AFTER YOU properly put it together.Good luck and I hope this helps a lot

I already reviewed this chair, but I'm writing another one. In my first review, I said the chair was comfy around the back and arms; however, the seat is like sitting on bare wood. I bought a cushion, but it did not help; it's still hard as a rock.

I needed something affordable to use as a desk chair for my "teacher's desk" in our homeschool area. I love to sit with my legs criss-cross applesauce, so I needed something wide. I needed something that could pivot to allow me in and out of the corner, but not with wheels, which the kids would be tempted to use as a race chair. This chair is so perfect for what I need! It's super comfy and cozy while being nice looking which is a bonus because our homeschool area is part of our living room and I didn't want an office chair. I wouldn't recommend it as a cushy living room chair - It's definitely more appropriate as a desk chair or maybe an accent chair. The material of the beige/cream chair is like a very soft microfiber, even thought the pic makes it appear like a faux leather. Seems like it will be pretty easy to spot clean with a damp cloth.
