OpenMV Distortion Lens
This lens gives your OpenMV Cam the ability to see image without distortion. The standard lens that comes with the OpenMV Cam has barrel distortion, which can be corrected in software, but will affect the running speed a bit. This lens has no distortion, so your OpenMV Cam can directly see the picture without distortion.
Applications
Distortion-free lenses are great for applications where you want to see no distortion. For example, by using a distortion-free lens, the OpenMV Cam can scan QR codes directly without software correction.

レンズ歪が無く、レンズ自体の解像度は8MP（４K）と表示しているだけあって、解像感は高いと思う。又、赤外フィルタも付いているので、別途購入する必要が無い。しかしながら、M12の固定フォーカスはアクションカムやWEBカメラの極一部しか使われておらず、フランジバックが取れないので、使える機器が少ないのが難点です。私はPAPALOOKのWEBカメラに純正レンズと交換して使用していますが、純正より高画質になりました。
