The box was well packe, had all the hardware.Very easy to assemble and install on my Tesla Y.The materials are excellent except I wish the size of the mounting plate [is shorter] was same as the size of the number plate.

The description says it will fit a 2024 Tesla Model 3 but it doesn’t. I have the dial turned to the narrowest level and it does not slide in to meet the grate.

The front licensed plate is needed in California when you drive. So when the actual plate comes later after purchasing a model y, I would get a customed plate like this as the one that comes with the model y, is made of plastic and uses 3M tape to stick onto the exisiting bumper. I looked at the one that came with the vehicle and it was just tape that you place the plate onto. With this set, I can attached it to the bottom grill of the model y and use the screws that came with the set to screw it in and not have it get lost. Once I turned the knob and tightened the grip to the plate. It held in place and the only way to unscrew it is using the key. Once you lock it, the turn dial above the key hole doesn't spin anymore. You also would need something to press in and to turn the opposite direction but since I am installing it, I only need it to turn clockwise to put it on. The license plate is also height adjustable as well. I like that the key hole can be covered so it doesn't rust from rain or water and the dial is just black so it blends well with the car.

I didn't like the idea of using the plastic front plate mount that came with my Y. Double-sided tape to mount on the front bumper? Really? So I wanted to try another style like this one. So far so good. It was super easy to install and I like the lock on it so someone cannot take the whole mount and plate. And it came with everything you need to install it and the plate, including a full-size screwdriver! Time will tell how well it holds up to winter and snow. But I like the look of it as it is not that ugly plastic mount taped to the middle of the Y's bumper.
