I *wanted* to like this holder.Unfortunately, it won’t allow the paper towel roll to rotate at all, so getting a paper towel is a frustrating endeavour. Once you’ve torn off the one that you’ve fed through the (not quite long enough) “slot”, you have to reach in and *find* the next one, which will hopefully tear at its perforations, and the. You have to reach in and find the next one… it’s too late to return this item, so I’m going to try to modify it by adding a large cardboard tube inside it to keep the fabric from grabbing the paper towels. I’ll edit my review if that helps.

I was worried this would be too small for the bigger rolls of paper towels do I was sure not to go with the triple size rolls. However when I got this I was pleased to see this can handle any size tool as it is generously sized—perhaps even too big for a smaller tool or a roll that is well used up.Dispensing was a disappointment, very awkward and individual towels not pull out smoothly. At least for me that was the case. I used Viva “cloth like” rolls.In the past I purchased the toilet paper dispenser version and was pleased and surprised the tissue dispensed better than expected. That is not the case here. Don’t get me wrong, it does work, but you gotta kinda fight with it and I was tearing “bits off” in my effort to dispense individual towels. Maybe it might work better with another type of towel, perhaps Bounty.And although this is well made with good material the material sags and flopps it is not firm enough to allow the roll to turn smoothly inside. This could have been solved by a firmer material or perhaps a plastic insert tube.All that said it is good quality — durable, well sewn, zippered, etc. but it needs a little improving. It IS a great paper towel storage container to have handy in your vehicle or camping. The thing is you may be more influenced to slip the roll out when you need it rather than using it as a dispenser.So bottom line, this product should be made with firmer material so the roll will encounter less friction and spin freely inside.

This, my friend, is an invention that far surpasses that of the wheel, steam locomotion, and sliced bread. You don’t have to be a camper or even an outdoorsy person to appreciate the value of this amazing product. So purchase it, without delay. Trust me. Your bum will thank you.

This is so much better than having a paper towel roll rolling around on the floor getting dirty and damp. I attached it to my rear side molle panel and have room to spare.It's definitely more of a holder than a dispenser as the roll doesn't, well, roll as you pull off sheets but as long as you know what you're buying you'll be very happy.
