I have a 2021 Nissan Sentra and need a holder for my phone. I’m picky though. I don’t want to obstruct my field of view by putting a mount on my windshield, and I don’t want to damage my dash with adhesives. So I ended up getting this mount that clips into my vents.Long story short, it works if you leave your phone in it permanently and don’t touch it often.Unfortunately, there is no way on earth I’m leaving my phone in my car all the time nor am I putting it in the holder never to be touched.Every time you touch the mount, it shifts slightly on the vent. And the moment it moves more than a millimeter off dead center, the legs lose their bracing and the mount collapses. I’ve taken the unit off and reset it more than a dozen times since I’ve owned it and still it doesn’t stay in place longer than a week.Pros: in theory and when it does work, it’s pretty great. At the right level for use, unobtrusive, and holds the phone firmly.Cons: Install isn’t hard, but it isn’t easy. The picture instructions aren’t very clear. Also, it can’t be touched once installed or the legs slide off the vent, leaving your phone hanging at an impossible angle.

It stated it was for my 2021 Nissan Kicks, however it did not work. Did not hold the phone in place. Not good.

Not cheaply built but fits great in my pathfinder and is very convenient. Very well constructed.
