I loved these screws, and I love that they hold wood super tight from the the way the threads are. I dislike screws that are threadless near the head. These screws went in easy, really bit into the wood and over all were great. Only wish they had been a little cheaper.

These are the best design of screws I have ever used for forcing warped deck boards down on to joists. But they have another great application that isn't mentioned. Attaching bowed sheets of plywood to rafters. Roof sheathing is often 1/2 or 5/8" plywood and it can can bow if stored outside. These screws are very effective at forcing the plywood flat to rest firmly on the rafters. Way better than other screws or nails.

Great for installing James Hardie lap siding and trim. Just completed a major remodel and reroof project. I found these screws to be the perfect solution. First all of the roofing hip, ridges, and rake tiles where an exposed fastener was required I used these. Holds composite shingles great and does not pull through. The secret is the double lock thread. I used the 3 1/2" screws on the vented ridge in order to get the length needed. For the cement siding, everywhere you cannot hide the fastener, i.e. 1x6 trim, face screwed siding, soffit, and fascia use these. Holds cement board great and the nibs under the head help them sit flush. Can be left bare or painted to match the trim. We installed all of the siding with screws, which made the install process easy, and allowed for corrections where the siding needed to be shimmed due to bows in the wall and around window nail flanges.

Very good, drives through the wood easily, no stripping and good quality. Says made in China, but when it arrives was made in USA or Germany, which is excellent wither way. Will buy this brand again.
