This order was a replacement coffee pot for one lost in a fire. We live on a sailboat and this pot makes a large batch of coffee and keeps it hot a long time for those overnight sails. The best coffee press we’ve owned, and we’ve had a few! The quality is great too. I have the fat bottom coffee cup to match because they are the best.

Works well but could be a tiny bit tighter between the carafe and screen as there are always some grind in the last bit of coffee. What I love is the look and ability to hold plenty of fluid. I measured as we were a bit short on two large cups for two people. It will hold 480 but that goes over the line inside and causes coffee to spurt out when plunger pressed down. So, only 400ml unless you like to clean up before your first cupppa

My wife and I love this thing! It absolutely makes the best tasting coffee. Prior to purchasing this press, I was using a pour-over and/or a drip coffee machine to make my morning coffee. I find that the coffee is much richer and better tasting when made in the press.

Been using this press for a couple weeks and it compares well to the other presses I have had over the decades and the heat retention is very good. Some of the comments about grounds getting around the screen I think is people overfilling it. The top diameter for the lid is slightly larger than the body unlike every other press I have used. If you fill it past the lip about an inch down, you'll get large grounds in the coffee.I have no issue like a few people claim about the vacuum either. I know there are always rejects in production that slip through but this appears to be as good a quality as any other Thermos brand items I have had. I can't help but wonder if there is some misuse involved given the other complaints and the grounds getting around the screen.
