It is the proper supply for my Brother P-Touch D600 and Edge label printers. The tip is the right size, but makes use of an interchangable tip system, not a permanent one. It could be reverse polarity if it came off, and not careful putting it back on, so I added heat shrink tubing to prevent the tip coming off. Over all, good value.

Not as advertised, and does not work with Brother P-Touch D600 Labeler.Returning through Amazon. Disappointed.

I was initially worried because the power supply's label shows that the connector is wired as "inner positive" (the usual connection most of the time) while the Brother label machine that I got this power supply for requires "inner negative". I measured the voltage before I plugged the power supply into the Brother, and it was indeed "inner negative" as ordered. So the power supply's label is incorrect, and that should be fixed. I successfully printed out a label using this supply with no batteries in the Brother. It worked fine, so far!
