I gave this lid a 3 ⭐️ because it will not stay sealed to the bowl, it’s simply does not fit. creating a lot of bouncing around and the pouring spout is awkward. Thus it’s not as easy to use as I hoped it would be.However, it’s does the job. I can pour flour and such into the bowl while it’s running and not create a flour cloud, or in my husband’s case pumpkin pie filling on the ceiling!!! The spout for pouring needs some redesigning as its really just a hole it the lid, not an actual spout as those for the metal bowls. It’s a learned skill to add ingredients. I have started to use a scoop as it’s low enough it to hit the bottom of the mixer.It does the job but you have to pay attention to it so it doesn’t run amok!This is the only lid I have found for glass bowls so I can live with it. It’s is made of sturdy plastic and is easy to clean.

Had a hard time finding the right size. This fits and does a good job

Did not fit the 5 qt bowl on my Moms mixer. Had ordered it and shipped to her and she never checked it. When I finally got a change to visit it was after return window. So to the trash it went.

I like that, unlike the original shroud that came with my Kitchenaid mixer, this covers everything but the very center where the attachments spin. The only downside is that the attachments have to be put on after sliding the cover over the shaft, then taken off before removing the cover. This get be a bit tricky (and messy). However, it's less of a hassle than having to clean up messes from stuff spilling over the side through the gap in the original cover.

Fit my mixer like a glove! The cut-out to pour in liquids makes baking so much cleaner. Just be aware the cut-out will not be accessible if the bowl is set in the mixer with its handle to the left (sorry lefties). Would absolutely purchase again.
