I am a 9.5, but decided to order a 10. That was a good idea. It stays snuck in my feet without making my toes feel cramped.On the material, I think it will probably last me the summer. But I don't think it'll give me more that if used regularly.

These shoes are not designed for hiking or even long walks. But they will be perfect for walking on a beach and in the surf. They pack very flat so will be good for travel. In fact, I expect I'll use them also as travel slippers. I generally wear a size 7.5 or 8 and have a narrow foot. The women's 7.5 fit me well. The shoes stretch but if your foot is very wide, you might need to go up a size.
