This is a great little item. I use this for my elderly mother. So she doesn’t have to lean over her bed to turn off her lamp at night and risk falling out of bed. It just plugs into the wall and you plugged the lamp into the wall and then the lamp goes off and on with the button it is absolutely perfect for anybody who has a risk of falling out of bed when they’re leaning over. Great for somebody elderly grateful for little kids who want to use the remote button or great for anybody that has a light that they don’t want to have to get up and turn off every night.

This product is great! It allows you to cut off power flow with a simple switch. Power is being used even if a lamp or appliance is turned off. With this product, you save money!!!

This remote controlled outlet has far exceeded my expectations! I have a silly room that doesn't have lighting and requires a lamp. It's annoying needing to go over to the lamp to turn it on each time, especially when it's behind furniture. It's much easier to walk into a room and switch the light on at the door than to blindly turn on the lamp in the dark.I was really worried about the outlet being behind furniture, as I thought the remote would need a direct line of sight to be able to work. BOY have I never been happier to be wrong! The remote will turn it on and off even if the outlet is blocked by furniture, and it even works in other parts of the house! Not like I really need it to work in other parts of the house... but it CAN! I only wish there were 2 remotes so I could have one on one end of the room and the other on the other side of the room. That way no matter which way I'm walking into the room, I can turn on and off the light.1000/10 would recommend.
