I couldn't find anything that I really 'liked' when looking for hardware for our pocket door, then I stumbled across this. It is not small, not finicky, and not chintzy. We have a 1 3/8" thick pocket door and we had to have the handle on one level and the latch on another but this is a great option that absolutely worked for us - pictures to follow. The push button works well, and the pull tab pops out readily.Solid construction of stainless steel. My only complaint would be the somewhat 'sharp' edges of the pull handle itself - not sharp, but could use just a buff prior to packaging to stake that edge off - but not a deterrent in any way.Our contractor is happy with the quality of the product, having not used this style before.I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and am happy to have found a great handle for our pocket door - EASY TO USE.

This is great quality and it’s easy to use. I was going to get a pocket door for my laundry room but after purchasing this. I was told that I can’t have a pocket door in the space I wanted it , so I will have to figure out where I can install this. It’s a nice upgrade if you are installing a pocket door-

Recessed Finger Flush Pulls with Edge PullI installed a “barn style” sliding door on the entrance to my laundry/mudroom off of the kitchen, and even though it was easy enough to open/close without a handle, it looked sort of unfinished without one.I could've used a standard cabinet pull or bar handle on the outside, but needed something flush on the inside to maintain the clearance, so by the time I bought multiple handles, it was more money than this one set that takes care of both sides. It's a larger scale (6” x 2” plate) which is what the door needed to look appropriate and is perfect for my door that measures 40” wide x 7' high.I made the door out of 3/4 cabinet grade plywood with a 3/4 x 3.5 frame around the border on both sides, so it was easy to cut a notch in the plywood for the latch portion and create the pocket for it to recess into concealed by the border frame pieces. If you're installing on a solid door, you would need a mortising bit that can drill 3/8 wide x 2-3/8 deep or drill it out with a regular drill bit and clean it up with a chisel.I don't know that I'll use the pop-out latch that often, but it makes the door look finished and more custom. Since my door is a bypass door on a rail system and doesn't go inside of a frame, I can leave the pop-out section out all the time and I didn't worry about recessing the plate because doesn't need to be tight against a door jamb. For the finger pull recesses, I just drilled out the area with a 1” spade drill bit since it doesn't have to be exact and will be covered by the plate. I traced out the perimeter of the plate and cut the recess with a chisel so it sits flush with the face of the wood. The quality is good and I like the larger scale of the handle set more so than a pocket door latch or cabinet pulls and definitely better than some type of repurposed gate handle.

The door handles are smooth. The material is very good. They look very nice and the gold color accents my door color very well. And the pop out handle works very nicely. No issues.
